Dear Internets:
Today I watched The Spiderwick Chronicles, Tranformers, & Stardust.
Why did you not inform me that Stardust is hilarious? Very bad form, internets, I expect to be briefed on such important facts.

On a scale of not-at-all to oh-so-very, how creepy would it be to make my 4-year-old nephew watch Due South with me? Anything you can think of specifically that I'd want to shade his not-actually-all-that-tender eyes and ears from? Because nothing in particular is springing to my memory right now.

Also, someone please inform me that it would be inadvisable to attempt to go to 2 Warped Tour dates when I'm having a fuck of a time figuring out how to get to one? Though the plan almost works better for two. (And if I do make it to Chicago, will anyone from my f-list be there?)
Laura, you have to read this fic. You will thank me for it (unlike the crack I was linking you earlier). Go! Run, do not walk!

Go!

Any other DS-pr0n-loving-types on my f-list... well, you've probably read it already. But if you haven't, you should as well. In fact, everyone on earth should read this fic. NOW!
What should I be doing?

-working on my microculture project
-working on my final paper in anth of religion
-working on my final paper for contemporary american culture
-working on my book report for psych. of sex
-working on my autoethnography crap
-reading a book for anth of religion
-reading a book for contemporary american culture
-doing other stuff that i can't remember right now for school

What am I actually doing?

-watching Due South, Season 1, for the first time ever

I've never actually watched any DS until a couple of days ago, though I've had the first season in my mental queue for a while now. I just finished watching "The Man Who Knew Too Little" and I'm about to start "The Wild Bunch".

I think I can finish season 1 by the end of the week. After that, though, I'm going to have to skip ahead to season 3 because I don't have most of season 2. (My local Best Buy does not carry the DVDs for some inexplicable reason, otherwise I may have gotten around to watching DS sooner.)

Before actually starting to watch the show, I would have thought I wouldn't mind waiting a while to watch season 2 because I didn't think I liked Vecchio. I even gave some thought to skipping the first two seasons entirely and just starting from where RayK shows up. What I did not know was that I only thought I didn't like Vecchio. You see, not having ever seen the show, I decided that I was a RayK girl, and could not ever under any circumstance be a RayV girl. But I was wrong, after actually wathcing the show I realized that I love Vecchio. ...I still don't know if I can switch to reading Fraser/RayV fic, though.

(And yes, I did in fact have a Due South icon before I ever watched the show. No, of course I'm not crazy.)
