There's no betrayal quite so sweet as finding out that your mother ships House/Cameron.

Though, when pressed, she did say that she would be happy to see House sleep with any of them, because they're all pretty. And apparently she can also see Chase/Wilson.

Where did I go wrong that she cannot accept the OTP-ness of House/Wilson? *sob*

Back to nano-ing now, I just felt the need to complain before I forgot. :)

Okay, so the cast of House is hot. This is not news. They're on TV; of course they're hot.

So, they're featured in the latest TV Guide. (scans)

And predictably, all the fans go "ZOMG, ded from teh hawt," etc, etc.

The cover... looks pretty nice as long as you ignore the fact that they left off Chase, but the rest of the pics... I actually think they're pretty bad pictures.
In one, Hugh Laurie is grinning like a madman, but Omar & Jennifer aren't - which is just plain strange. And in the other pic (finally with Chase & Wilson, yay!) everyone looks bland and emotionless and way less than their prettiest. Not to mention the fact that Cameron is wearing the ugliest dress I have ever seen in my life!
...and white bowties, people? Seriously?
Cuddy's tits make an excellent showing, as always, though. :)

Yeah, I apparently have no life. Sad, really.

House! WTF is wrong with you?

When I go, "Ooh, I bet this gross thing I just thought of is going to happen!" I'm not supposed to be right!

I actually liked it. Overall, highly pleased with the episode.

If nothing else, it would have been successful in not severely pissing me off like every other finale I've watched this season.

So, yay for House not letting me down! (Even if the icky parts did happen to be... especially icky this week.)

Also, I can't make much sense out of parts of the ep if House and Wilson aren't sleeping together.

(Skip class to go buy Brokeback Mountain and watch House, who, me? I wouldn't do a thing like that.)

So we were out today killing time before Japanese class (after I found my car... which is an entirely different story. I accidentally forgot that I left it parked in a tow-away zone for 4 days. But it was still there once I remembered where I left it! Which was a great relief.) Anyway, back to the story - so we were out and I decided to buy Dead Poet's Society (Special Edition, yay!) on DVD. Because I decided I simply could not go another minute without owning it.

I still haven't figured out how I managed to not see this movie until last summer. Obviously, I'd heard of it before then, but somehow the fates conspired that I not actually manage to see it. And if my girlfriend keeps insulting it, I shall have to smite her...

But I watched it tonight and decided I liked it just as much as the first time around, though it definitely adds an interesting touch now that I have seen House, and thus watching Robert Sean Leanard has entirely different connotations (though I much prefer him at his current age than as an awkward 20-year-old, in general).

On to the point! (Yes, I had one, damnit!) There needs to be House fic about Wilson's secret poetic side. Needs to be. And that is all I have to say about that.

In other news, I need to download tonight's episode of House so I can watch it. Immediately if not sooner.

Oh, and not only is DPS itself slashy beyond belief, in one of the interview things Ethan Hawke kept referring to RSL as Bobby and I nearly could not contain my squee at the adorableness.

And on that note: I desperately need to go take a shower and go to sleep. So, g'night all.

Yay! Accomplishments!

So, yeah, today was very long. Got about four hours of sleep last night. Zoned my way through Soc, then Anth, and other Anth, and other other Anth, and lunch and then Psych of Sex, which was at least entertaining. Then helped girlfriend finish doing the mail-outs at her place-of-employment and we wandered away to go shopping.
We randomly decided that Barnes and Noble was a good idea. Listen carefully, people: Barnes and Noble is never a good idea. We spent 2 hours or so and about a hundred bucks between us, I think. Oh, but I did finally buy "Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs"! Yay! (Don't worry, at least Rita gets it. ^.^)
I also felt it necessary to buy an interesting looking book about physics/string theory. And two about math-y things. *sigh* Damn Numb3rs reminding me that I like math. Grr.
And I bought a small present for Aileen that is not her birthday present, because I'm going to pick that up later. And I bought a small present for Zoe today, as well. (Shh! It's a secret! ...not really.)

So yeah, we didn't get home until like 9:30 ish and then there was dinner-ness and... I have no idea where the last hour and a half or so went. I'm so sleepy... Except not really. I really want to open another soda, but that would be bad since I already have to get up in 7 1/2 hours. I'm going all Rita-sleepy from exhaustion, so I guess that means I should stop typing and go to bed. Except I totally haven't checked my email yet, or the RP, and I wanted to watch another S1 ep of Numb3rs and..... Stopping now. Really. G'night.

...WAIT! I almost forgot! Just watched last night's House. Most of the storyline did not particularly draw me in. Though, despite what other people have said, I didn't find Wilson's behavior the least bit out of character. And House, of course, reached new depths... but at least he did it half naked. And spinny. Which was realllllllly distracting. But pretty fun. And I did like the very end. I would have liked the entire episode much better without the patient-of-the-week. Seriously. Ick-ick-ick! Worlds of ick!

Okay. Really done now. I think. ...okay, I'm going, jeez...

I heart my big gay show. Again. And I strongly suspect that they timed the episode about AIDS to be the day before Rent opens on purpose.
