Hey Laura? I... well, I found this pretty picture, and I thought, "Gee, I bet Laura would like that. It would make pretty icons! I should make her an icon, that would be shiny!"

And so I did.

But apparently I am... indecisive or something? Because, umm...



So first I icon-ified it. But then I thought you might want your name or your name's meaning on it, but I wasn't sure which, so I tried both ways and no way, which led to this.


And I thought those were pretty shiny - but with it that small, it's not very detailed, is it? So I thought maybe I would try a closer-up crop and see how that looked, which is how I got these.


But then I decided I wasn't sure quite how well I liked that font, so maybe I had better try out a few others...


And then I ended up messing around with it some more before I got bored and wandered away, leading to these.


So, in conclusion, I have no life. So have some icons for no reason whatsoever.

I like the last set the best. In the second row the barely-transparent squares look very - umm - slapped together.

I'm pretty fond of the first row and the last row. All the ones in the middle, once I was finished with them, I just kinda went... wow, they're not shiny at all. I liked the idea of closing in on the pic but then it just looked so terribly plain... And the text boxes look slapped on basically because they are. It's just a white paintbrush because I wanted the text to be readable but didn't feel like actually doing any work. Plus, everything I know about Paint Shop Pro is from trial-and-error... but I don't do too awfully bad for all that.
