I realized that I've neglected to actually mention anything about ...me since Nanowrimo ate my soul. And being as this is my LJ, now we thusly have RL updates. Yay!
Unfortunately, I forgot a key fact in this train of thought. I don't have a life.
Umm... I wrote a paper this morning for class this afternoon... and did the same thing yesterday... and I still haven't started on the two term papers I have to write. So that's my recent school-type procrastination.
I was in the middle of reading several truly lovely fics the other day and I would tell you what they were but my computer decided to restart in the middle of the night yet again and ate them. I really need to turn off Automatic Updates. Even though then I would never update my computer. But I think that would be much better in the long run. So, um, that's fic-type-procrastination-y-stuff.
What else is there in my life besides school and slash? Oh yeah, nothing TV!
L&O: CI on sunday was quite nice. I liked having all the detectives there at once, competing for brownie points. Plus, Goren!angst is teh sex. ...alas it did not make up for the lack of Crossing Jordan. *dies of no new CJ*
... ... ... ?
I've skipped a lot of classes this week. Actually, not really, it just feels like more because I skipped English. I kind of feel bad about skipping it on account of how I had to skip it for a week that one time for Student Government reasons... But, meh. I didn't miss anything. Because we don't do anything, like, ever.
Speaking of which, SG and random university committees are totally eating my soul (I typed soal at first... o.O; crazy typos...).
Do duh doo da.
I am quite excited about the fact that I have Schlabach's!!!! Feel free to ignore me while I squee as few of you other than
ktprincesswitch have a clue what I am talking about.
Schlabach's is a Mennonite (sp? o.O) bakery in the county I'm from. They have the Best Cinnamon Rolls evar. Period. End of story.
And apparently they entered into a deal with the local high school to have their goods sold as a fundraiser and my lil sis was selling stuff and she asked me if I wanted to buy stuff directly after the Halloween Party Of Doom And Drunken-ness.
Drunk-Katie apparently has no ability to say no when someone asks her to buy things. Thusly I gave every dime I had on me to buy a pack of cinnamon rolls ($4) which were magically delivered to me by sugar plum fairies (aka my mother).
And Jen has pie. *Blackberry Pie* This is an awesome, wonderful, beautiful, delicious thing.
So... yeah... cinnamon rolls and pie. Life is good. How're you guys doing? Why am I doing this instead of working on nanowrimo?
Upcoming Events:
friday night - going to see Tartuffe on campus with girlfriend and girlfriend
saturday night - going home to see lil sis's play
sunday - if i am not caught up on nanowrimo by this point i shall begin committing mass murder/suicide. wish me luck. ^.^
