kaciagemini1013: i drove part of the way home after the 8th grade grad this morning
kaciagemini1013: then around lunch time, i drove back to elkton so zoe could pick up her report card
kaciagemini1013: then to pop's video to get some movies
kaciagemini1013: then we decided to go to russelville so i could get printer paper
kaciagemini1013: then, after wal-mart, i drove across russelville to the liquor store to get some wine coolers
kaciagemini1013: then we went to library to get some books
kaciagemini1013: i only drove half the way home from russelville though because mom called in a panic about the weather and forbid bruce to let me drive
kaciagemini1013: then helen called in a panic because the power was out in elkton and she couldn't get gas
kaciagemini1013: so we found a gas can and i drove to sharon grove and we got some gas and then we went to elkton, where helen was, and brought her the gas
kaciagemini1013: then we followed her home and back to sharon grove to make sure she made it ok

For those who do not already possess this knowledge, I do not drive. I have had my permit for... three and a half years. I can count on my fingers the number of times I've actually driven. And almost every time was with someone different in a different vehicle. So, yeah, I've never actually been *taught* to drive. But apparently I've mostly picked up on it anyway as there weren't too many glaring errors in all that driving today. Yay for me! I may actually learn to drive this summer, after all!
In other news, the QAF final season premiere is Sunday. This pleases me greatly. ^.^
Also, I found adorable black sandals at Wal-Mart today. This also pleases me greatly, but I'm sure you don't need another page full of exclamation points to emphasize it. I was actually looking for black sandals similar to my brown ones that I dearly love, but couldn't find any and couldn't find any, then I found some in the right design but they were purple! And also in lime green! I liked them so much, I was almost ready to buy the purple ones even though I have nothing to wear them with. I had just talked myself into giving up when I spotted the exact same sandals, in black, in my size! I put them on, hopped around in them and squeed slightly in excitement, then put them in the cart. I love shoes. :-)
Oh, and I bought Hotel Rwanda on DVD today so I can finally watch all of it. (Damn you, friends, for making me skip class and miss it! *pouts* Okay, so I'm not really mad. But now I can see the hour in the middle that I missed.) And I rented Kinsey so I can see if it's any good. Hooray for sex! (Apparently today is a good day for sociology classes related movies. o.O; Who knew?)
I have currently read books 1, 2, 3, and 5 of Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events" series. I'm in the middle of the 4th one. (I had to read 5 first so Zoe could give it back to her friend.) Zoe has actually read about 5 or 6 chapters of this one to me out loud. My little sister takes such good care of me. ^.^
Anyway, I think that's all the updating I have to do for now. I need to go check my e-mail, read my f-list, and apparently I have to go over to Aileen's and keep Luke and Zoe company while Aileen unpacks stuff and cleans. Gotta run!
