Trefoils
Which Girl Scout Cookie Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla
Hey, I like Trefoils. Poor, lonely Trefoil. *snuggles cookie* *coos at cookie* *takes a bite out of cookie* *cookie screams in agony* "Oops" *stuffs rest of cookie in mouth* *silence... cricket chirps*
I like Do-si-dos, too. They are awesome. And, mmm, Double Dutch... And All Abouts are my favorite... hey! How come All Abouts weren't in the quiz? They're discriminating against All Abouts!
I bet I can get my mommy to buy me a box of All Abouts and bring them tomorrow when we go see Hamlet at PTK. I should call her and ask her later today. Because concentrating very hard on cookies and projecting it at her is unlikely to actually be successful. Though, you never know...
I wonder if it says something about my personality that I really don't like Samoas, Thin Mints, or Tagalongs, which are the most popular Girl Scout cookies.
Random GS cookie facts:
This has been your random cookie-ness for the day.
...Can you tell I really want a cookie?...
In case anyone was curious about why I haven't really made any substantive updates for a while, it's largely due to the fact that I've had the plague. No, really, I've consecutively caught three different strains of the flu. Actually the last one was most likely strep throat, but I seem to be recovering from it, though I still keep coughing like a frickin' smoker. So, after having been sick for most of the last ... month ... I can finally see health in sight. I look forward to resuming my regularly scheduled life.

Random GS cookie facts:
- Trefoils and Thin Mints are the oldest kinds, having been sold, in some form, since at least 1951.
- There are two different companies currently licensed to make Girl Scout cookies.
- Each company makes no more than 8 varieties.
- They are required to make Thin Mints, a shortbread cookie (Trefoils), and a peanut butter sandwich cookie (Do-si-dos).
- Cookies vary across the US in name and in types.
- Most peoople don't realize that there are actually different kinds of Girl Scout cookies in different regions.
- Up north, the flavors this year are: Thin Mints, Caramel deLites (Samoas), Peanut Butter Sandwiches (Do-si-dos), Peanut Butter Patties (Tagalongs), Shortbread Cookies (Trefoils), Animal Treasures, Lemon Pastry Cremes (which we actually had down here a few years ago), and Iced Berry PiƱatas.
- Cookies freeze well -- so buy enough to last the whole year. (Most of them also taste quite good straight from the freezer)
- Little Brownie Bakers is the licensed Girl Scout cookie producer for most of the south, including us.
- ABC/Interbake Foods is the licenced producer for most of the north.
