Brad Paisley and Rodney Atkins put on a good show, for srs. Also, I kind of spent a lot of the show wanting to LOL wildly at Brad Paisley because there was more rocking out than I've seen in any show except Metallica. The important difference between rock shows and country shows is that the guitar sex also involves violins and occasionally banjos. Yeah, that's pretty much the only difference.
Also, apparently the highlight to actually seeing a country show in Nashville, is that, you know, people live there. Like apparently Allison Krauss. And then randomly show up to do their part in Whiskey Lullabye and it was so incredibly awesome and made of win. I am a good friend and thus concert-called my f-list, (which you probably missed because I accidentally hung up so it was set to private until I got home and fixed it) so go forth and listen to it in all its crappy-quality glory. ♥
