Also, damn whoever turned the poor quote into LJ's version of a chain letter, because it doesn't deserve such negative associations. It stands perfectly well on its own without emotional blackmail.
(And if you should happen to be reading this, and you do support gay rights, good for you. If you think you need to do something to prove what a good little gay rights supporter you are, do me a favor and don't post chain mail; go join a campaign or organization and do something useful instead. It would do a lot more good in the long run.)
