This day did not start well. Within five minutes of getting up, I realized that my computer had decided to randomly restart itself when I had been in the middle of downloading something - for the second day in a row, and my nose started bleeding, which is in general not cool but is even less cool first thing in the morning. Plus I couldn't find the tissues and I was slightly naked and thus couldn't immediately go to the bathroom and try to make it stop bleeding. Ended up going to the bathroom in my bathrobe and waiting for my nose to stop bleeding which took a good ten minutes or so. And thus the rest of my morning was way rushed as I was trying to get dressed and re-find the download that got killed when my computer restarted.
Then I went to class and didn't learn a damn thing because I was trying to study for my other class, in which I had a mid-term today. After I got out of my first class, I went up to Jen's office and spent the entire time until Anth of Gender studying for the test. I was very worried about it, but apparently the eighty-billion hours of studying did in fact do some good because I actually knew what I was talking about for most of the test. Normally I wouldn't have been that worried, but in that class, you really have to know what you're talking about to do well on the test. But I think I did okay which makes me very very happy.
So, after I got out of the test, Jen and I finally got around to eating lunch and now I'm hanging around the library until the senate meeting tonight. I might have to leave early though so that I can make it to the optometrist by 5:45 so that he can check my eyes and give me my new contacts. Yay, new contacts!!!
So, in summary, my day started off sucky but gradually improved, which is quite a nice feeling. You appreciate the good parts of a day a lot more when it looked like it was going to severely suck donkey balls.
Love you guys!
