I'm never having children. It's too hard to type! Luke can't quite sit up properly, so I'm attempting to support him with one arm while still using both hands to type. Plus, he keeps trying to help me by pushing the keys. Silly baby. He says "Ah Goo!" to all of you, however you choose to take that.
Okay, temporarily baby-free, so maybe I can get a quick note down before someone brings him back. Eww, baby drool on my desk.
Anyway, for anyone who missed the memo (which could be because I forgot to write it) I went clubbing Saturday night. At a gay club. With my mommy, Helen, and mom's transexual friend Dale/Teri. It was very interesting. And rather a lot of fun. I got to see a drag show, which kicked ass. And also got to witness many gay boys kissing each other and dirty dancing, which was exceedingly pleasant. Plus, danced muchly, which was fun. Apparently I give off lesbian vibes, which somehow rubbed off on Helen, because practically nobody hit on me. (There were a few lesbians floating around, but they all seemed to have come in pairs, rather than trolling for dates.) Apparently Mom got groped many times by people of all descriptions. Can't say I'm sorry to have missed that experience. At one point I looked over and there were about three people surrounding my mom, dancing *very* closely. Mildly disturbing. The only person who actually overtly hit on me and Helen was a somewhat creepy guy with a strange accent who wanted to have a three-way with me and Helen; I got rid of him as quickly as possible. Mom finally dragged us off at about 2:30, which was okay, cuz I think the club was shutting down soon anyway. The only problem with the club was that, while people under 21 are allowed in, each under-21 has to have an over-21 sponsor to sign for them and they take your licenses and it's this whole big thing. But provided I can scrounge up enough sponsors, I plan to drag everyone out sometime this semester. (Kristin, you can sponsor Laura. That means you can't get her drunk and take advantage of her! Well, not until we get home anyway. I enjoy teasing you guys entirely too much...) And if I do manage to finangle a clubbing trip, JEN, you *will* dance with me.
What else did I put on my mental chalkboard to mention? How am I supposed to get my room clean and pack in time to leave? There are simply not enough hours in the day! Damn! What have I been *doing* all summer? The Super Nintendo sucked away my life... Love you guys...
