I value your opinion, people, so please vote.
I asked the professor which she thought was move viable and after attempting to explain what I meant by the second one, she said they both sounded like workable options (though she admits she still doesn't quite get what I'm talking about with the second one).
If you have a reason for which one you pick and you feel like telling me, please leave a comment. I am openly welcoming any input.
This project will take the rest of the semester and is worth more than half of my grade, so pretend to be serious, just for a minute if you don't mind.
Oh, and if you really do want to know more about what a microculture is (as best I can explain it), what the project will entail, details about why I think each idea is good or bad, or what exactly my teacher had to say about each, just ask and I'll include more info here.
Oh! One more thing, if you pick the second one - let me know if you have a suggestion for a group to study, a specific livejournal community or possibly an email listserve or posting board or basically any place where a group of slashers can be found - caveat is it has to be a small group (anything with more than 20 active participants would probably be too large, but there's not really a minimum) and it'd be nice if they're relatively active.
