I just realized I haven't spammed my journal yet today. So, hi! This is me doing absolutely nothing useful, especially not studying for my two finals tomorrow.

I'm going to die of Paleoanthropology.

Work is boring and hot.
I don't even feel like crocheting, which is sad because I hauled a metric ton of yarn to work with me. ;_;

So here's how dumb/forgetful I am.

Preface: I'm trying to figure out what I classes I need to take next semester (it being my last and all), and I don't have a copy of my degree program with me. (Actually, I possibly have managed to not possess one at all - I should probably fix that.)

I was changing things around mentally and trying to get out of a class I don't want to take. The problem is that this class fulfilled a space in that major and in my minor, so I had to replace it with 2 classes. I thought I would have space in my schedule next semester to do that, but then I started playing around, figuring out what else I need to take and it started not adding up like it should.

I was like, "How do I need two more classes in Sociology? I thought that was the last one I needed! What the hell is going on here?"

I was staring at the list of Soc classes, counting over and over the ones I know I've taken, and it just wasn't adding up...

So, I went and looked up the list of every class I've taken and realized that I'm retarded.

I forgot to count my Study Abroad. Oops.


Anyway, none of that really matters because my schedule next semester is going to suck.
Apparently, Hudepohl thought it would be a good idea to teach Medical Anth as a MWF class at 12:40-1:25.

My mood was just greatly uplifted because I realized that not only is it Talk Like a Pirate Day, LJ is apparently celebrating.

Life needs to fade into the background again so I can RP. I'm pretty sure I owe tags from days ago. *le sigh* Perhaps Tuesday. Tomorrow is shot already.

Mon - 11-4:30
Tues - 8-11
Wed - 11-4:30

Class Schedule:
Tues - 11-2:15
Thurs - 11-5 (maybe)

Yay for 3-day weekends every week and only having to get up at 8:00 AM one day a week!

Wow I'm bored.

So glad I have nothing else to do this semester, just lay back and wait for the grades to roll in... though I may not be entirely happy with all of them. I suppose I will still survive if I get a B in Anth of Religion. I really should have done the extra credit. *le sigh*

I've been at work for 15 minutes and I've already checked all my e-mail, read my f-list, and peeked in on RP - which is currently a bit dead. ...now what? I have no idea what to do with myself when I don't have classwork to avoid.

Also, it would be really great if Dr. Kate would hurry up and @#$%@#$ grade stuff! I want to know how I did on my Microculture paper, damnit!

B. The Muckrakers are going to be playing on campus the Tuesday night of finals week. I'm so there. Who's with me? Also, I totally need to find some good pics so I can make Muckrakers icons. Cuz that would be awesome.

C. House is downloading so hopefully I will be able to watch it later.

D. I will probably change my layout tonight. Apparently four out of five people prefer the full-color normal version, so that's what I'm going with. I'm sure I'll post again when I'm finished. Now I just need to figure out what the hell to change the text links to that is squirrel-applicable.

E. There is no E. Everything else I have to say was crossed off my mental list because I take the elementary school advice of "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" way too much to heart in terms of going emo in my LJ. Suffice to say that school is eating my life and the rest of it is... not exactly going great either.

Also, I went to the court house today and paid my speeding ticket, so I'm glad that's off my mind. Now I just have to wait for traffic school. *blegh*
On the larger scale of things though, I think I'm still doing better than either of my brothers because I haven't actually lost my license yet.

And did I mention that I went and applied for a new passport yesterday? If not, I did.

And I'm meeting with my advisor tomorrow to work on filing my degree program. Which I should have done like a year ago, but I'm lazy.

I certainly seem organized and on top of things. Strange how appearances can be so deceiving, isn't it?

...now I have to go write a paper to turn in tomorrow. Buh-bie.
