Pete, discussing how Fall Out Boy does album preproduction:
"The way it works is, Patrick is kind of like Dorothy from 'The Wizard of Oz,' and we're all the supporting characters. I'm like the Tin Man, Hurley is Toto, and Trohman is definitely the Lion, because he's got big hair and he's very boisterous," he laughed. "I go over there after I leave the set of 'FNMTV,' and usually before too. Usually twice a day. Patrick is always there, working on new stuff. We keep him chained in the basement."
1.) Pete, why do you write your own AUs?
2.) Pete, how has your band not shot you in the face by now? You compared Patrick to Dorothy!

bandombigbang fics, but I am pleased that there is a masterlist up now. That should make it a bit easier. I am greatly anticipating many of them and will likely read them all, even the ones I know I shouldn't because they will piss me off or make me sad. I'm just stupid like that.
Random fact of the day (that's not about bandom):
Before I was born, my mom used to live in Minneapolis. Somewhere around the late 70's/early 80's. I'm not sure exactly, she's lived there more than once, but I think that's the time period currently in question. That was when she was into a lot of sci fi conventions and D&D groups and other such happyfuntimes.
Apparently she hung out a lot with these folks. Like, they all used to party and hang out at my mom's house and she played D&D with some of them.
Pat Wrede had a Dungeon that I guess she DMed that was a whole planet and eventually ended up becoming the basis for one of her series? Crazy shit. Quite coincidentally, I've been re-reading The Enchanted Forest Chronicles this week. Randomy randomness.
Anyhow, the fact that my mom used to party with Pamela Dean is way not enough degrees of separation between me and Cassandra Claire for my world's continued existence. Weeeeiiiiiiird.
