-doing other stuff that i can't remember right now for school

What am I actually doing?

-watching Due South, Season 1, for the first time ever

I've never actually watched any DS until a couple of days ago, though I've had the first season in my mental queue for a while now. I just finished watching "The Man Who Knew Too Little" and I'm about to start "The Wild Bunch".

I think I can finish season 1 by the end of the week. After that, though, I'm going to have to skip ahead to season 3 because I don't have most of season 2. (My local Best Buy does not carry the DVDs for some inexplicable reason, otherwise I may have gotten around to watching DS sooner.)

Before actually starting to watch the show, I would have thought I wouldn't mind waiting a while to watch season 2 because I didn't think I liked Vecchio. I even gave some thought to skipping the first two seasons entirely and just starting from where RayK shows up. What I did not know was that I only thought I didn't like Vecchio. You see, not having ever seen the show, I decided that I was a RayK girl, and could not ever under any circumstance be a RayV girl. But I was wrong, after actually wathcing the show I realized that I love Vecchio. ...I still don't know if I can switch to reading Fraser/RayV fic, though.

(And yes, I did in fact have a Due South icon before I ever watched the show. No, of course I'm not crazy.)
