Another thing, Jen - have you seen this program? EditStudio 5 I heard good things about it. It has a trial version available - I think it puts a watermark on stuff if you don't buy it. I was thinking you might like it better than Adobe Premiere because I was told that this one is very simple to use. What do you know about Premiere other than that it roxxors? *ponders Anniversary present despite it being far away*

I downloaded it.. Gonna need to play around with it a bit before I decide.. The layout is sort of complicated. And for some reason i can't get the previw screen to run O.o; But that just might be my computer. It does a bunch of things that please me. Just if i can get the hang of it...*is sorta dense apparently.*

Oh! And I finally won an award from the Bad Bad Man Awards.. for "Demons".. best POV, every exciting. Maybe they don't hate me.

Groovy. One thing that i think that one doesn't do that premiere and one other that i've found can do is that thing where you can play a video image set inside another clip of video, like in fighter. The other one that sounds good is called Videostudio 8 by ULEAD - I don't really know much about it except for what I read in a computer magazine review - apparently it can do the picture-in-picture thing, but it can't do the "keying" thing like Premiere where you can do crazy blue-screen stuff. *iz brain-killed by video editing software*

Unfortunately I still can't get my clips to run in the program.. it'll play stuff that came with it (there's a couple preview files, etc.. all about London O.o) but none of my stuff, which is weird, because it played one clip just fine..BACKWARDS, to my amazement.. but now it plays *nothing* ... the split clip thing won't work (It works by scene.. i threw an *episode* in it and it said there was one scene throughout.) I don't know if these are errors in the trial mode, or what.. but I don't want you spending a hundred dollars on this thing that apparently *doesn't work.* Sorry...

I just downloaded 2 different programs to test, both of which cost under $100. The Ulead one... and something called Power Director. But it might not matter at all because i think I accidently ate a piece of moldy cheese and am now going to die x_x

Edit to above... Ulead won't install right .. but the other one is pretty good.. still looking though.
