So, Numb3rs. *sigh*

Possibly spoilery, but mostly vague.

I put off watching the last episode of last season of Numb3rs. I missed it on first-run and, though I've had it in my hands since about 2 days after that, I just didn't have the heart to watch it all summer. I was at a low point, trying to recover from the disappointment of the Crossing Jordan finale... and I just couldn't handle any more television let-downs.

Anyway, so I watched that ep tonight just before the premiere. 2x24 was... not as disappointing as I was afraid of, but far less incredible than I hope for in finales. I might give it some more thought and come up with something less vague later. And I guess I'm glad they didn't deal with the Amita issue in that ep.

3x01... it was a good episode, all things considered. It had the big sort of feel about it that I expect from season premieres and finales. Though, it felt far more like a finale than a premiere (especially what with the cliffhanger ending and all) which was pretty strange.
The conclusion to the Amita issue wasn't what I'd hoped, but it was what I expected. I'm darkly pleased by Charlie's resultant issues.
The whole Meghan and Larry thing... I don't like it, because of course he belongs with Charlie, but I can't get too upset because they're damn cute.
All the focus on living arrangements this ep strangely fascinated me. "Not homeless, simply without address." So cute.
I'm looking forward to the next new episode in more than just a "Surely it can't get any worse" sense, and it's been a while since that happened, so overall, I'd say I'm pleased.

Mmm. *savors new TV seasons*
